Korean Disabled Sports Association, Asia Paralympic Committee Awards Excellent NPC Award
The Korea Disabled Sports Association (KPC) won the NPC Award at the 2025 Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) Asian Awards held in Astana, Kazakhstan. The Excellence NPC Award was established this year as a prize that contributed to the development of the disabled. The APC said, “KPC is leading the inclusiveness and excellence in Asia with an integrated approach that encompasses community programs, international partnerships, education, and public communication beyond elite sports results.” Bae Dong -hyun, chairman of the BDH Foundation, won the Asian Medal. The Asian Medal is a person or institution who has made an excellent contribution to the development of the Asian handicapped sports, and is awarded every two years.
Men’s volleyball team departed on the 17th to participate in East Asian Championships
The men’s volleyball national team will leave for China through Incheon International Airport on the 17th to participate in the East Asian Championship. The East Asian Championships will be held from the Jangja River in Jiangsu Province, China from 17th to 24th, and a total of six teams will participate. Korea is part of Group B along with Taiwan and Mongolia, and in Group A, China, Hong Kong and Macau are competing. After the group league, the first and second place will advance to the semi -finals. Korea will confirm the final list of 14 people to go to the world championship through this tournament.
