NC Park Geon-woo, right ulna fracture, wrist ligament damage… Leaving for more than 6 weeks

NC Dinos’ leading hitter Park Geon-woo (33) will be out of action for at least six weeks.

The NC club said on the 29th, “As a result of a detailed examination today, Park Geon-woo was diagnosed with a right ulna fracture and wrist ligament damage. There were no surgical findings, and he is scheduled to receive treatment for the next six weeks.”

Park Geon-woo was injured when he was hit on his right hand while swinging at the 7th ball thrown by Lotte starter Park Se-woong in the bottom of the 3rd inning with 1 out in the 2024 professional baseball home game against the Lotte Giants held 0-0 at Changwon NC Park on the 26th.

Park Geon-woo achieved a batting average of 0.344, 13 home runs, and 53 RBIs in 88 games this season.
