Participation of two Afghan athletes in Sambo and Combat Sambo competitions in Kazakhstan
Two Afghan athletes have participated in the World Sambo and Combat Sambo Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Syed Mahmood Zia Dashti, head of the Afghanistan Kuresh, Sambo and Rostami Wrestling Federation, sent a video message to Radio Azadi and said that Abdul Basit Ahmadi in the weight of 79 kg and Shahram Mehraban in the weight of 64 kg went to Astana with a coach on Tuesday evening to participate in these competitions.
Sambo World Cup and Combat Sambo competitions will start today and will continue until November 10.
