Afghanistan’s cricket team once again defeated South Africa

Afghanistan national cricket team won another strong victory against South Africa on Friday. Afghanistan defeated South Africa by 177 runs in the second one-day international and won the series of bilateral matches.

Rahmanullah Garbez scored 105 runs and Afghanistan scored 311 runs with the loss of 4 wickets. Rashid Khan took five wickets on his birthday and South Africa were bowled out for 134 runs.

With this victory, Afghanistan won the series of bilateral matches. In the first match on Wednesday, Afghanistan defeated South Africa by 6 wickets.

After winning the toss in Friday’s match, Afghanistan completely dominated the game and displayed some superb bowling.

By making 105 runs from 110 balls, Grebs became the player who scored the most hundred runs in Afghanistan’s one-day internationals. Azmatullah Omarzai scored 86 runs from 50 balls including 6 hits and 6 runs.

Rahmat Shah also scored 50 runs.

Chasing the target, South Africa got off to a good start as Temba Bavuma, team captain and Tony Dzorzi combined for 73 runs.

But after Bavuma was dismissed by Umarzi, South Africa quickly lost wickets.

Rashid Khan, who had injured his leg while bowling, took five wickets in 9 overs and conceded only 19 runs. Nangyal Khoruti took 4 wickets and conceded 26 runs.

Rashid Khan was recognized as the best player of the match.

The last match of this series will be held on Sunday in Sharjah.
