In January of this year, Gimcheon Sangmu signed a joint partnership with Weed for the scientific development of the youth athlete. Weed provides the club with ‘WSTI (Sports Psychological Types Analysis)’, including I am Strong, a service of advanced scientific and systematic techniques such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
IMSTON is a service that objectively identifies the team average physical strength, grade and age data, physical data by position, and changes in the level of physical strength. Through this, leaders and players are helped to foster and develop based on scientific data. In March, the Kim Cheon Sang -mu U12 Squadron conducted a public test based on the program.
Kim Cheon Sang -moo, U18 Park Tae -min, said, “It was a good opportunity to systematically identify the data of the players through scientific programs. The objective records provided by Weed will be an important resource for fostering athletes.”
Kim Cheon Sang -mu, the captain of U18, said, “As a player, I was able to identify the data necessary for the game through I am strong. It was more stimulating because I could feel the lack of myself compared to other players as I was working on the measurement.”
The IMStrong, which was held this time, is planning to measure the second measurement in the 2025 season. Gimcheon Sangmu and Weed are planning to take the second measurement after fostering and growth of youth athletes based on the first measurement data.
Meanwhile, Kim Cheon Sang -mu U18 and U12 Squadron will start this July ‘2025 Ground.nk League Youth Championship’.
