Jinhee Lim hit 2 under par 68 in the final round of the tournament held at the Pelican Golf Club (par 70) in Bel Air, Florida, USA on the 18th (Korean time). With a final total of 11 under par 269, he tied for second place with Charlie Hull (England) and Jiang Weiwei (China).

Jinhee Lim, who debuted on the LPGA this year, broke the season’s best score. His previous best result was a tie for 4th place at the JM Eagle LA Championship last April.

In particular, he continued to have the possibility of winning Rookie of the Year. He narrowed the gap with Saigo Mao (Japan), who ranked first in Rookie Award points, from 146 points to 66 points. They are aiming for a comeback in the final game of the season, the CME Group Tour Championship.

Saigo missed the cut in this competition.

Rookie Award points are awarded differently depending on ranking: 150 points for winning, 80 points for second place, 75 points for third place, and 70 points for fourth place.

Jinhee Lim made three birdies without a bogey until the 17th hole, trailing the lead by two strokes. However, he lost one stroke in the 18th hole (par 4) and was unable to take second place.

The win went to world number one Nellie Korda (USA), who hit 3 under par 67 strokes for a final total of 14 under par 266 strokes. Koda, who left the field due to injury treatment and recovery after the Kroger Queen City Championship last September, beat the tied second place group by three strokes and won his seventh championship trophy of the season. A total of 15 wins. Koda, who has already confirmed his Player of the Year award, maintained his place in first place in the money rankings and CME Globe points.

Meanwhile, Kim Se-young finished the tournament in a tie for 15th place (6 under par, 274 strokes), Yoo Hae-ran and Lee Mi-hyang in a tie for 20th place (5 under par, 275 strokes), and Choi Hye-jin tied for 29th place (3 under par, 277 strokes).
