Korean women’s volleyball, 1-3 defeat in Argentina at the International Congress
The Korean women’s volleyball team unfortunately kneeled in Argentina at the international competition held in the home.
The women’s volleyball team, led by Fernando Morales, led the set score 1-3 (22: 25/21: 25/27: 25/21-25) in the first match against Argentina 2025 Korea Invitay International Women’s Volleyball Tournament held at Jinju Gymnasium in Gyeongnam.
The tournament, which will be held from 12th to 17th, will be selected as the host country, including Korea, Sweden, Argentina, Japan, Czech Republic, and France. From next year, Korea, which has not participated in the FIVB Volleyball Ballnation League (VNL), has been checking international competitiveness and aiming to restore honor, but swallowed from the first game.
Korea targeted Argentina with Moon Ji -yoon (18 points, Heungkuk Life) and Yuk Seo -young (10 points, IBK IBK), but both of them were inferior in power and height. Argentina, on the other hand, scolded Bianca Kuno, who scored 22 points.
South Korea, which had been in the first and second sets in succession, was over 13-19 in Argentina in three sets. However, he was able to concentrate on the set, and he made a tie for the last minute 21-21, and soon reversed and won 27-25 after the deuce. But four -set Argentina took the mood again and played the game.
Korea will play the second match with France at 3 pm on the 13th.
Meanwhile, Japan won the first win by defeating France with a set score of 3-1 (25: 20/25: 21/22: 25/25-23). Japan defeated France with 31 points in the outside heater ‘Duo’ Osai Nai Miwako (16 points) and Hukazawa Tsuumi (15 points).
