Gwangju announced that it will run the Gwangju FC Dream Kicks, a children’s soccer class where professional players and youth coaches participate in this month for healthy sports activities for local elementary school students.
‘Gwangju FC Dream Kicks’, which started as part of community contribution activities, is operated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Sports Promotion Corporation.
In order to participate in the soccer class, you must apply directly through the official website ‘Children’s Football Class’ tab.
The soccer class is targeted twice a day and 4-50 people per episode, and by November, about 80 elementary schools and 4,000 students will be able to benefit.
The curriculum is based on the K -League Futures Gyoan, which was designed by the Korea Professional Football Federation, and it is easy and fun for children, such as basic soccer technology training, 5: 5 mini games, and relay games, and distribute various events and gifts.
An official of the club said, “We have prepared this program to create a healthy sports culture by conveying the joy of football to children.”
On the other hand, Gwangju plans to actively carry out social responsibilities as a growing citizen team.
