KPC, 2025 Asian Paralympic Committee Asian Awards ‘Excellent NPC Award’ Bae Dong -hyun, Chairman of ‘Asian Medal’

(Sports Seoul | Reporter Kim Dong -young) The Korean Disabled Sports Association (KPC) won the ‘Outstanding NPC Performance’ at the 2025 Asian ASIAN AARDS Awards held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The ‘Excellent NPC Award’ was awarded to the Asian National Paralympic Committee (NPC) to a group that showed excellent achievements and dedicated activities in the development of disabled sports.
The APC said, “KPC is leading the inclusiveness and excellence in Asia with an integrated approach that goes beyond elite sports achievements to community programs, international partnerships, education, and public communication.”

Chairman Chung Jin -wan said, “The Korean Paralympic Sports Association has continued to expand joint training with other countries, and since 2015, the ODA program, including the KPC International Sports Camp, has been trying to develop the disabled sports in five continental developing countries.”
“I am thanks to the dedication of Bae Dong -hyun, BDH Foundation, and the dedication of KPC employees who shared their passion. I want to share the glory with them.”

At the same day, BDH Foundation Chairman Bae Dong -hyun won the Asian Order. The Asian Medal is the highest honor of APC awarded to a person or institution who has made an excellent contribution to the Paralympic Movement and the Development of Disabled Sports.
In this award, Chairman Bae Dong -hyun and Pachd Bin Zala Wi were selected as winners. In particular, in 2023, Chung Jin -wan, chairman of the Korean Paralympic Sports Chairman, won the Paralympic Medal and the Asian Medal in succession.
Chairman Bae Dong -hyun said, “This award is not the honor of my individual, but the achievement of everyone who has been walking together for the development of the disabled sports.”

In addition, OSEN Cho Eun -jung photographer won the Best Photography Award. Cho was a photographer at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, and was noticed as a work of players’ emotions, determination, and human moments beyond the simple game scene.
In particular, the photographs of Paratray Athlon Kim Hwang -tae, who completed the cycle (road) game with the prosecution, received high praise at home and abroad, including winning the Sports Photo Award (261th) of the Korean Photo Journalists Association.
