Croatian coach after defeating Real: They are dangerous, but we kept our killer instinct
In one of yesterday’s Euroleague matches, Real Madrid hosted Turkey’s Anadolu Efes, led by Croatian expert Tomislav Mijatović, whose team led the entire game and inflicted another defeat on Mateo Chus’ team and deepened the crisis of the royal club.
Efes led throughout the entire game and ultimately won with 74:64.
At one point, it seemed that Real could come back, but Efes didn’t let up until the end of the game. Mario Hezonja did not have a good shooting night, he finished with 13 points with a modest realization of 5/17. The best player in the Croatian coach’s team was Elijah Bryant with 13 points.
“Despite everything, we remained calm. Real Madrid are a fantastic team and it is clear how dangerous they are, especially at home. And we knew he was going to try to get back into the game. However, we have never lost our passion for winning and our killer instinct,” he said Mijatović after an important victory.
