The birth of the K -League’s first Icelande … Gwangju, 196cm striker Fried Jonson signed

K -League 1 Gwangju FC announced on the 6th that it has signed a striker striker, Holmbert Fried Nonson (32).

The 196cm tall fried Jonson became the first K -League Iceland. He moved to Celtic (Scotland) in 2013 after his professional debut in HK Copa Bo Gur, but he was rented to Bronbur (Denmark) without getting a chance to play.

Since 2018, he has scored 39 goals in 71 games in Olle Soon FK (Norway) for three seasons, and has since played in Brescia (Italy) and Holstein Kill (Germany).

Fried Yonson, who scored two goals after Iceland’s representative debut in 2015, said, “I am honored to be the K -League’s first Icelandian player.”
