Saeed Mehri denied rumors of the player’s attempt to get consent and return to independence.

With Ricardo Sapinto’s return to the bench, rumors have been raised in the media space that Mehri was on the list of the Portuguese coach. Sapinto was very fond of playing in the style of independence in his first period and was often used in the squad.

Even joining Apoel was given to Mehri with direct opinion by Sapinto. Today, one media outlet reported that Saeed Mehri is negotiating to get a consent from Persepolis to become Sapinto’s student in independence and return to the blue.

However, Mehri completely denied rumors minutes after the news releases a story on his personal page. He explicitly responded to speculation by publishing the phrase “Fake News”.

The reaction shows that he is currently not deciding to separate from Persepolis and intends to continue his presence with Hashemian students. As such, any possibility of a Mehri return to independence or his desire to receive consent has been rejected for now.
