KIA Tigers built a cooling system for the first 10 teams to prepare for the heat. But the home team dug out.

In a press release on the 29th, Kia’s club said, “We have completed the construction of a cooling system in the Gwangju Achampion Field home Team Dugout from 25th to 28th to create a safe and pleasant game environment for the team.” The basic goal of this improvement is to install two large package air conditioners and have air conditioning systems so that cold air can spread evenly throughout the dugout through cooling ducts. Kia’s team said, “In consideration of the structural characteristics of the open -out dugout, we applied the local cooling method that directly supplies cold air around the area where the team sits.

However, the construction was limited to home dug out. Visit Dugout must use existing mobile air conditioners. For reference, the Gwangju Achampions Field is hotter in the position of the first base, so Kia uses the third base as a home dugout, not the first base. Kia’s team said, “We will complete the out -of -the -counter construction after listening to the opinions of the team, complementing the insufficient part,” he said. Kia will play six home games against Doosan Bears and Hanwha Eagles this week. According to Kia’s explanation, Doosan and Hanwha players are expected to play the game with a temperature of about 10 degrees higher than the Kia players in the dugout this week.
