The Korea Baseball Commission (KBO) said, “The KBO-Czech Baseball Association Evaluation Ceremony was held at KBO Studio on the 28th.

This evaluation game is part of the K-Baseball series, which is a project attracted to strengthen the competitiveness of the national team and accumulate experience. In November last year, he took his first step in the match against Cuba, and he planned to provide KBO players a chance to gain experience with overseas players.
The Czech Republic is the strongest of European baseball, which is ranked 15th in the WBSC world ranking. Among the European countries, the eighth Netherlands and the 14th Italy. In addition, in the World Baseball Classic (WBC) final round, which will be held in Tokyo next year, it will be organized in Group C together with Korea.
In 2023, during the WBC, the Czech Republic scored 1 win and 3 losses in Group B in the Tokyo Round, and was fourth among Group B teams. This evaluation shows that KBO will not only explore the Czech team’s power in advance, but also establish a strategy against the WBC.
