The ‘separately together’ of peers was strong… Korean male relay 400m victory

The young people who won the gold medal said short and bold. It seems like an ordinary feelings of four people who are one and waiting for the track, but if you chew, there is no more valuable word. The gold medal is not enough, so it’s the first gold medal in Korea relay.
On the 27th, the Korean men’s 400m relay team wrote a new history of Korean awards by winning 38 seconds 50 at the 2025 Line-Lou World University Competition (U Contest). This is the first time that Korean athletics have won the gold medal in the relay event. Furthermore, this is the first time that he won the relay event in the world comprehensive competitions, not the Asia. Based on the U -tournament, it is a gold medal after 16 years since Kim Deok -hyun, who jumped in 2009.
Those who have been happy and happy are Seo Min -jun (21, Seocheon -gun Office), Namado Joeljin (19, Yecheon -gun Office), Lee Jae -sung (23, Gwangju Metropolitan City Hall), and Kim Jung -yoon (20, Korea National University). In Korea, I often think of ‘Smile Jumper’ Woo Sang -hyuk, but there was no ‘representative runner’ on the track. Their names are now mentioned ahead of big competitions such as the 2026 Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya) and the 2028 Olympics (LA).
The peer athletes who appeared in the same age are synergies by taking a breath as a colleague and competitors. The Korean men’s 400m relay team, centered on Seo Min -jun, Joeljin, and Lee Jae -sung, has worked big and small this season. In May alone, three Korean records were set. In the Guangzhou World Relay Championships on the 10th, Seo Min -joon, Joel Jin, Lee Jae -sung, and Ko Seung -hwan set a Korean record at 38 seconds 56. In the next day, the last runner changed the last runner from Ko Seung -hwan to Lee Jun -hyuk and further shortened the Korean record to 38 seconds 51. At the end of May, at the Asian Athletics Championship, Lee Joon -hyuk set a Korean record (38 seconds 49) and won the gold medal in the men’s 400m relay for the first time in Korea.
Most of them are in the early 10 seconds of 100m, aiming for the Korean record (10 seconds 07). If those who play ‘separately’ towards their personal goals, they will be more powerful if they join together. With the emergence of new articles, it was helpful to grow in the event that the federation itself was competitive in the international competition. The Korea Athletics Federation said, “We selected 400m relay as a strategic sport and invested intensive investment such as expanding overseas battery training. It was also a valuable achievement that we had discovered competitive young athletes on the national team and operated as an infinite competition with existing team members.”
Meanwhile, the Korean national team finished the U -tournament with one gold medal and one bronze medal with 19th overall ranking.
