‘Gwangju’s only recruitment’ Shim Sang -min “I feel why I have to believe and follow Lee Jung -hyo” … “I have a lot of new learning and realizing”

Shim Sang -min, 32, left Ulsan HD from the transfer market this summer and moved to Gwangju FC. It was a rent transfer to secure opportunities for participation.

Shim made his debut in FC Seoul in 2014. Shim has since worked in Seoul E -Land FC, Pohang Steelers, Sangju Sangsang (the predecessor of Gimcheon Sangmu), Kim Cheon Sangmu, and Ulsan. Shim was pushed out of the Ulsan main competition in the first half of this season and failed to compete in the league.

Shim Sang -min is at the core after joining Gwangju. Already in four league games. Shim said, “I chose Gwangju because I wanted to learn Lee Jung -hyo’s football.”

I have been more than 10 years in professional. The pro should be shown as a result in any situation. If you have a lack of performance, whether it’s hot or humid, it’s just an excuse. If the day is hot and humid, you should prepare to show good performance according to the situation.

Q. He debuted in 2014. Isn’t it 12 years in pro? Do you have your own body care secrets?

Drink a lot of water. No matter how hot, I don’t want to think of ‘hot’. Then it was a little better (laughs).

Q. What is Gwangju life?

I became close to my colleagues. After training, I go to eat delicious food with my colleagues on the rest of the day. Isn’t there a lot of restaurants in Gwangju? It seems to talk a lot while eating delicious food.

Q. Is there any food to be recommended to fans looking for the Gwangju World Cup Stadium?

I hope you have to eat six sashimi bibimbap. Yukhoe Bibimbap, which was eaten in Gwangju, is the most delicious.

Q. Isn’t Gwangju’s best star Lee Jung -hyo? How about receiving the guidance of director Lee Jung -hyo?

It is also very detailed when you tell me a small one. As I listen to the director, I think I have forgotten. These are the things that I thought of as the annuals accumulated. In the meantime, I also learn something wrong or I didn’t know. The director explains very well, so there is no difficulty in understanding and acquiring.

Q. Do you have 12 years of professional players to learn?

The change in modern football is very fast. The more you learn soccer, the harder it is. Director Lee Jung -hyo makes tremendous efforts to follow the trend of modern football. Then he teaches the players a lot. When you see the manager teaches the players, I feel that Lee Jung -hyo makes a lot of effort. The players have no choice but to believe and follow.

Q. This is the only recruitment of Gwangju this summer. Is there no burden?

There is no burden at all. When I came to Gwangju, I knew why this team has become a team that is not easy to win in the K League 1. Director Lee Jung -hyo made the team well. When attacking, defending or moving to teams. This is not as easy as it sounds. That’s why anyone is impossible. I came to Gwangju because I wanted to learn such soccer. Just do well. I will melt into the team and show better performance.

Q. What do you want to achieve in Gwangju?

I want to help the team victory with good performance every game. If you look at life, you are not just a player. I am also thinking about life after the player. After finishing his career, he tries to walk the path of the leader. So I am learning more from Lee Jung -hyo. I feel a lot of seeing the manager’s words, athletes, training, and tactics.

Q. I went through several teams while I was a professional. What kind of player do you want to remember in Gwangju?

Looking back on my professional life, I think it’s an image that is dedicated to the team. I like the word ‘dedication’. There are many players who are good at K -League 1. There are many players in Gwangju. I want to be remembered as a player who is not noticeable but always devoted and silently.
