‘Kim Sang-sik’ Vietnam U-23 soccer team advances to the ASEAN Championship semifinals
The Vietnamese U-23 national team, led by Kim Sang-sik, advanced to the 2025 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U-23 Championship semifinals.
The Vietnamese national team defeated Cambodia 2-1 in the group B 3rd game of Group B in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 22nd. Vietnam scored a tie in the second half of the 17th minute after scoring the first goal in the 35th minute, but scored the final goal in the second half.
Vietnam, who won the group league Group B 2 wins (6 points, +4 goals), took the first place in the group and went one step further for three consecutive championships. He beat the same Joe Cambodia (1 draw, 1 loss, 1 victory, 1 goal-1) and Laos (1 draw, 1 loss, 1 victory point, goal-3).
In this tournament, 10 teams of Southeast Asian countries participated in the team, divided into three groups (Group A, Group B, Group 3, Group 3), and the group stage will enter the semifinals, and one team with good performance will join the semi -finals.
Vietnam will play semi -finals with the Philippines, which ranks second in Group A.
