Zimbabwe broke the record for most runs in T20I cricket history
The Zimbabwe national cricket team set the record for the most runs in the history of the World Twenty20 cricket tournament.
On Wednesday (October 24), the Zimbabwean team played against the Gambia cricket team in the 2026 Africa Cricket World Cup qualifiers, and during this match, the Zimbabwean team scored 344 runs in 20 overs with the loss of four players. This new record is the most runs recorded in the Twenty20 format of cricket.
Previously, the Nepal team had set the record for the most runs in this format by recording 314 runs in the 2023 Asian Games, which was broken by the Zimbabwean team yesterday.
