Former national striker Lee Jae -young (29), who left the Korean volleyball world due to the controversy over school violence, returns to the court in four years through the Japanese Women’s Volleyball League.
The Japanese women’s professional volleyball SV League Victory and Himeji team officially announced Lee’s recruitment through the club’s home. The club said, “We are pleased to announce Lee Jae -young as a new player in the 2025-2026 season.” “Lee Jae -young expects to contribute greatly to strengthening team power as an outline heater with high attack power and world -class receiving ability.”
Lee Jae -young said, “I am happy to be able to play in Japan, which had been a dream since I was young,” he said. “I am seriously reflecting on the events that have happened in the past.
Lee Jae -young joined Heungkuk Life in the first round of the 2014-2015 season, and was reborn as a representative of Korean women’s volleyball with her twin brother, Id -young. However, in February 2021, Ida -young was late to join the school violence in middle school, and he left the volleyball world after being disciplined indefinitely by his team and national team. Lee Jae -young, who left the domestic stage, joined Greek Women’s Volleyball PAOK Thessaloniki in 2021, but left the team due to knee injuries. In 2022, he joined the Pepper Savings Bank, but was defeated by criticism.
Meanwhile, Ida -young joined the US Women’s Professional Volleyball League San Diegojo last year to continue his career.
