The players of Afghanistan’s under-17 national football team successfully returned to Kabul
The members of Afghanistan’s under-17 national football team returned to Kabul on Tuesday night, the 8th of Aqrab, after getting the permission to participate in the Asian Under-17 Football Nations Cup.
The Afghanistan team, which was in the qualifying group “B” of the Asian Cup, with four victories against the Philippines, Macau, Cambodia and Bangladesh, was able to advance to the Asian Under-17 Football Nations Cup with twelve points.
This competition will be held in Saudi Arabia in April 2025 with the participation of the top 16 teams in Asia.
The teams that can advance from the group stage to the elimination round in those competitions will also get a share of participation in the 17-year-old World Cup, which will be held in Qatar.
