‘Hero’s Return’ Pacquiao, a 17 -year -old young Hyun Champion
The Filipino’s ‘Boxing Hero’ Manny Pacquiao, who returned to the ring at the age of 47, showed off his health.
Pacquiao scored a draw with the current champion Mario Varios (30, USA) in the World Boxing Council (WBC) Welterweight (66.7kg) title (12th round) held at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena, Nevada, USA on the 20th. Two of the three referees scored 114-114, and the other referees raised the hand of Barios to 115-113. As a result, Barios barely succeeded in defending the title. His record was 29 wins (18KO) and 2 losses.
According to ESPN, Pacquiao is said to have been ahead of three referee scores until just before entering the 10th round. Due to a lot of age, physical limitations were revealed over time. Pacquiao hit 101 (17.5%) out of 577 punches, and Barios hit 120 (18.2%) of 658 punches.
Pacquiao is the only living legend in the history of boxing. He had a four -year retirement life in a month after he was dedicated to the International Boxing Hall, and challenged the 17 -year -old younger champion. In addition to the match, his professional performance was 62 wins (39KO) and 8 losses.
Pacquiao said, “I thought I won,” he said, “It was a close -up. He was really strong.” “I hope my challenge will inspire boxing players to keep the discipline and try hard,” he said. Barios said, “Pacquiao’s health is amazing.”
