Luis Riverato (30), who was recruited as a six -week alternative player, became a regular player in Hanwha Eagles.

Hanwha’s club said in a press release on the afternoon of 19th, “We decided to join Libirato, who joined as an alternative foreign player. Esteban Florial, an existing foreign hitter, asked the Korea Baseball Commission (KBO) to disclose the waiver. The Hanwha team said, “It was decided that it would be helpful for the team to use Riverato, which has strengths in the batting side, rather than waiting for Florial’s rehabilitation, which is rehabilitation due to a right finger injury.”

Florial played in 65 games before he was injured, with a batting average of 0.271 and 8 home runs and 29 RBIs. Liberato played 16 games in the Florier’s absence, batting 0.379 (66 at -bats 25 hits) and 13 RBIs and 13 RBIs. When there is no runner, he has a huge clutch ability, with a batting average of 0.275, and his batting average is 0.600. As a result, Riverato came to a six -week temporary job like Ryan Wice last year and sewed a full -time job.

Hanwha said, “The replacement period for foreign players is until 25th, and it was a little early. It was because Florial could continue to find a new team and continue the player’s career.”

Hanwha is ranked first with 53 wins and 33 losses (0.616) as of the 18th. It’s a 4.5 -game difference against LG Twins.
