A reliable Iraqi media announced the holding of a match between Persepolis and Al-Sharta in Qatar.

The page of Iraq’s Qanaat al-Riyadhi channel claimed in a news that Iran’s Persepolis football team will host Iraq’s Al-Sharta in the sixth week of the Asian Elite League in the city of Doha, Qatar.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) had previously moved the matches of Iran’s representatives in the Asian competitions as well as the matches of our country’s national team in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup to a third country.

Persepolis Club has announced the city of Doha, the capital of Qatar, as the host of the game against Iraq to the Asian Football Confederation, so that the Red Masks will host the representative of Iraq on December 12 in this country.
