The Afghanistan Cricket Board invited the Bangladesh national cricket team and gave them Afghan gifts

The Afghanistan Cricket Board welcomed the Bangladesh national cricket team in a party on Thursday night, 17th of Aqrab, in which all the players of both sides and their coaches were present.

Broadcasting the news about the hospitality culture of Afghans, the Afghanistan Cricket Board expressed that it welcomed the Bangladesh national cricket team during a party. The players of the Afghanistan national cricket team also gifted Afghan dry fruits with hand-embroidered carpets to the opposing players.

In the pictures, it can be seen that Jonathan Trott, the England head coach of the Afghanistan national cricket team, presents a hand-embroidered Afghan carpet to Phil Simmons, the head coach of the Bangladesh team. Also, the captains of each team, Heshmatullah Shahidi from Afghanistan and Najam Al-Hussein Shanto, signed the group photo of the national teams of both countries and gifted it to each other.

Before this, the Afghanistan national cricket team has received very good reception from its opponents.

This party took place while both teams are holding their second one-day international competition in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates tomorrow, Saturday the 19th of October at 2:30 pm Kabul time. The Afghanistan team won the first match on Wednesday 16th of Scorpio with a difference of 92 runs against Bangladesh and their last match will be held on Monday 21st of Scorpio.
