CEO of Persepolis club strongly rejected any decision to run for the presidency of football.

In this regard, Reza Darwish strongly denied the rumors about him in response to the question of Persepolis club website.

He said: I don’t know where these rumors come from and why my name has been mentioned for the presidency of the Football Federation, even though I haven’t even thought about it.

CEO of Persepolis stated: Maybe there are friends who are kind to me, but I really have no intention to be a candidate for the Football Federation. I reject this matter seriously. It is a great honor for me to serve Persepolis and its fans.

He said: Persepolis has gone through great changes in the past few years, and privatization has been one of the most important of them, along with winning championship titles. We have enough work to do. From here, on behalf of us and the Persepolis club, we wish success to the president of the next round of our country’s football federation, whoever he is.
