Men’s basketball team, Qatar and ‘Asia Cup Mock Test’ on the 18th and 20th
The Korean men’s basketball team, who won two consecutive wins against Japan, is dealing with Qatar. The national team will face Qatar in the 2025 men’s basketball national team evaluation match (3rd and 4th), which will be held at Anyang Jeonggwanjang Arena on the 18th and 20th.
Qatar is a great opportunity to gauge power in the same atmosphere ahead of the FIBA Asia Cup on August 5th. Qatar and Korea, along with Australia (7th) and Lebanon (29th), are part of Group A Asia Cup.
Qatar (87th) is lower than Korea (53rd) in the world rankings, but is a strong team. There are a lot of naturalized players. The preliminary entry, which was released by the Qatar Basketball Association ahead of the Asian Cup, is noticeable by athletes of various nationalities, including the United States, Europe and Africa.
Korea, which is composed of only domestic players, has become a problem in ‘height’ in confrontation with Japan. In the first leg (11th), he won the world’s 21st place in Japan, but was pushed by the splattering (31-39) and given 17 attacks. Even in Qatar, it seems to be the key to catching balls and fighting rights.
