Persepolis’ request to increase the Premier League quota rejected

With the announcement of the head of the league, the recruitment of domestic players will not change at all.
Following recent events and the imposed war, there have been talks about the increase in domestic players’ quota for the Premier League teams, and some clubs, including Persepolis, made their suggestions to the league.
While the head of the Football Federation had earlier announced the possibility of changing the number of quotas, Heidar Baharvand, the head of the league, said the players’ quota would not change and that the clubs could, as usual, recruit seven Premier League quotas and three FIFA quota.
Baharvand said the reason for this was the inability of some clubs to recruit the players and emphasized that all clubs and teams in the league should be considered.
