Mustafa Zarei, the director of the Football Federation’s Professional Licensing Committee, told Tasnim: “We are speaking based on what is stated in the professional licensing regulations.” No natural or legal person should have control or influence over another club. The meaning of this law is that having the majority of shares, having the right to vote in club assemblies, or having the right to appoint or remove managers or any role that can affect decision-making in clubs is a problem.

Zarei continued: Shahr Bank owns 30% of Persepolis Club and we do not know the role of this bank in Melvan Club. We will definitely inquire and if the clubs say that this set does not have an effective role in another club, we will accept it and it is not a problem.
