KBL, ‘Violation of Contract with Jeong Gwan’ Controversy Gomez
Anyang Jeonggwanjang Asian Quarter Harvey Gomez will not be able to play in Korea’s professional basketball (KBL) next season. The Korea Basketball Federation (KBL) said that Gomez had left the team without permission, saying he was suspended for a season. The Korea Basketball Federation said on the 11th, “We held a financial committee and deliberated the violation of Gomez’s agreement and disqualified for a season.”
Gomez had a conflict with the team, expressing his intention to play as a Philippines in the Johns Cup in Taiwan while participating in team training. Gomez is from the Philippines. The club took into account his body’s condition and risk of injury. Gomez is known to have left Korea without bending after interviews with the director.
Jeong Kwan -jang saw this as an unauthorized departure and asked for a fiscal committee, and the Korea Basketball Federation raised the hand of Jeong Kwan -jang. Gomez played 51 games last season, scoring an average of 8.4 points and 2.7 splatters. He re -signed with Jeong Kwan -jang and was scheduled to play in Korean basketball during the 2025-2026 season, but he could not stand on the court for the time being.
