Branko: I trust Hashemian; Vahid is worthy of Persepolis bench

“Vahid is the bench of Persepolis and he has the ability to achieve a lot of success with Persepolis,” said the former Persepolis football coach.
As Persepolis coach Ismail Cartal refused to return to Iran last season, Persepolis officials again faced the challenge of choosing a coach and eventually reached Vahid Hashemian.
Hashemian, a former star of Hanover, Hamburg, Bochum and Bayern Munich, has only worked alongside Wilmots and Skochic to the national team, but his resume has caused fans to worry because he has no experience in coaching.
However, the Persepolis hope to be able to have good days with Hashemians.
Hashemian coach Branko Ivanovich said about Hashemian’s election: “Congratulations to Vahid because he is one of the greatest players in Iranian history and has played at the first level of European football.
He added: “Vahid is worthy of being a Persepolis coach because he has completed a coaching scientific degree and has a good and leading personality.”
Responding to the question that Hashemian has no coaching experience so far, Vahid is one of the greatest Iranian football experiences and is the most knowledgeable scientific. I trust him and wish him success. Because he has the ability to experience good days with Persepolis.
