Someone says racing is called a world of numbers. It is a sea of data with ranks and time, records and yields. However, the actual number alone contains emotions and stories that cannot be measured. It is a game that is completed only when the horse and the coincidence and the strategy, sweat and intuition are met.
In the first half of 2025, the expression ‘turning point’ is full of thick achievements. There are scenes that will be recorded as numbers and narratives. Some moments were impressed with the fans’ heart for a long time. The four issues reflected the flow of Korean horse racing in the first half.
◇ Global Hit and Kim Hye -sun Jocheong, Dubai’s Korean Horse Racing Pride
On March 1, the ‘Dubai World Cup’ qualifiers were held at the Racecourse of the UAE. ‘Global Hit’ and Kim Hye -sun, who left the expedition to Dubai, were ranked third by challenging the Almakum Classic (G2, 2000m, DIRT). Last year, ‘Global Hit’, which won both presidential and grand prices in Korea, prepared for a race by starting the Dubai for a month and starting with basic starting training. As a result, he made a 100 -point departure from Gate 4, surpassing the world’s famous race horses. Although he was overturned by the most popular horse ‘Imperial M -Ferrer’ at the point where the finish line was left 400m and was pushed by Atorius just before the final line, he beat the popular horses such as ‘King Gold’, ‘Cavircan’ and ‘Caribbean’.
The achievement of global hits shows that Korean horse racing has entered the world stage. Kim Hye -sun said, “I think it was an opportunity to show the potential of ‘hit’ on the world stage. I also felt the possibility of Korean horse racing.”
◇ The second 2000 wins of the racing prince Moon Se -young
On March 29, another gold tower was built in the history of Korean horse racing. Moon Se -young, one of the best active riders, achieved 2000 wins. He won four wins in one day. In the meantime, the racing prince Moon Se -young shared the record of Park Tae -jong, a racing president, who had only been a Korean horse racing.
Since his debut in 2001, Moon Se -young has held more than 9000 races in the 24 years, and has gained a brilliant career for 48 wins and nine best rider awards. This achievement will be remembered as a milestone of challenge for junior rider and another legend for fans.
On April 12, a fan meeting was held to commemorate the 2000 wins of Moon Se -young. I have been looking for my career for the past 24 years and thanked my fans. ◇ Kabalo Kabalo, Sprinter Samgwan (三) to the short -range strongest
‘Kabalo’ was the first Korean horse racing to be honored by the Sprinter Series. In March of this year, the Busan Ilbo Bae, April SBS Sports Sprint, and the Mayor of the Seoul Madu Association in May have solidified the position of the short -range strongest. ‘Kabalo’ was attracting more attention because it is a domestic horse. Domestic horses occupied the three kings in the Korean short -range stage, where the power of foreign short -range horses was relatively high. In particular, even though the auction price is only 30 million won, it is impressive that the winning prize has already exceeded 140 million won. ◇ Korean horse racing world new milestone, Lee Jong -hoon’s 300 wins
On June 15, Lee Jong -hoon, a faction of Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam, achieved a record of 300 wins in the first Korean horse racing with the championship of Gyeongju Horse ‘Bulmarking’.
The 100 wins of the face are absolutely rare and unique, unlike the 100 wins of the jockey or assistant. Thus, the 100 wins of the face are compared to the 700 wins of the rider and the assistant. Lee Jong -hoon’s 300 wins are 20 years with Korean horse racing and are the fruit of sweat that has been in tremendous investment and trial and error.

Myeong -huns such as ‘Bulma’s Dream’, ‘Burma’s Star’ and ‘Oasis Blue’ were born in the arms of Lee Jong -hoon.
