(Sports Seoul | Reporter Kim Yong -il) Korea Horse Association (Chairman Jung Ki -hwan) announced that it won the Minister of Employment and Labor for the excellent social enterprise collaboration at the 2025 Social Enterprise Day ceremony held at the Seoul Science and Technology Convention on the 1st.
The 2025 Social Enterprise Day Celebration is hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and organized by the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency and the Korea Social Enterprise Central Council.
The Korean Horse Association has contributed to the creation of the social enterprise ecosystem and revitalization of the local economy in various ways, from the establishment of social enterprises to fostering early starts, expanding markets, and providing idle spaces.
In 2012, the company supported the establishment of a coffee shop social enterprise to help young people return and settle down, and young people with disabilities are working in two stores in the head office.
From 2019, the competition will be operated by each workplace and the Social Contribution Foundation. It has continued to support social enterprises. 80 places have supported consulting and commercialization funds of 1.27 billion won, and have also worked hard to support online and offline sales.
In 2025, the company is promoting social enterprise start -up and growth support projects by business place. The head office worked with the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency to hold a 100 million won contest. The selected five companies have been supporting project fees and expert mentoring since June. In the second half of the year, the company plans to expand the market through online exhibitions.
