Daegu FC failed to advance to the Korea Cup semifinals.

Daegu FC finished the Korea Cup journey by losing one -to -two to Kangwon FC in the quarter -finals of the 2025 Hana Bank Korea Cup held at Daegu IM Bank PAK on the 2nd.

Daegu was aimed at Gangwon’s goal in front of Edga, Kim Joo -gong and Ramas, while Lee Jin -yong and Carlos set foot in the midfield. Politicians, Kio, Hong Jung -un, Park Jin -young, and Jung Woo -jae defended their defensive lines and Han Tae -hee as a goalkeeper. Park Man -ho, Lee Won -woo, Kim Hyun -jun, Lee Chan -dong, Jung Hyun -chul, Lee Yong -rae, Geobani, Sejingya, and Jung Jae -sang waited.

Daegu made a change in the midfield by selecting the newly joined Carlos. Carlos was impressive in his debut with sharp passes and active movements. He struggled with the strong forward pressures of Gangwon and had a hard time attacking. Daegu scored the first goal to Koo Bon -cheol, Gangwon, as a defensive mistake in the 43rd minute.
