KK Split outraged: ‘This admission of error means nothing, there is still no satisfaction from victory’
KK Split does not hide its indignation with the refereeing seen in the derby of the 8th round of the ABA League.
The leadership of the league previously published a statement with the fact that the referees damaged Split in the last attack against Cibona with a score of 70:71, thanks to which the Zagreb club won 72:71, and the people of Split explain in the statement that the confirmation that the referees missed the steps does not mean a lot.
“The official evaluation of the quality of refereeing in the match between Cibona and Split (72:71) has also arrived. Judges Nermin Nikšić and Naim Lasetović were rated below the referee instructor average and, as Saša Maričić, president of the ABA League Referee Committee, writes, they are subject to punishment from Article 20 Sanctions from the Rulebook on the Work of the Referee Department

“Nermin and Naim will return to the courts again, but the victory they took from us will not be returned to us. The satisfaction of winning over a great rival will not be returned… This with Nermin and Naim means nothing to us, gentlemen. It’s not the first time, and unfortunately it won’t be the last time either.”
