‘Autonomous Baseball’ Lee Gwang -hwan, former LG Twins Manager
Former Director Lee Kwang -hwan, who led LG Twins in Korea’s professional baseball in 1994, died on the 2nd. 77.
The Korea Baseball Commission (KBO) announced the news of Lee’s death on the day.
Lee Kwang -hwan, a former director of Daegu, began in 1989, starting with OB Bears (Doosan Bears), and served as a director in four clubs, including LG, Hanwha Eagles, and our Heroes (Kiwoom Heroes). In 1994, he created a new word called ‘New Wind Baseball’ and led the LG integration. The director’s performance is 608 wins, 639 losses.
Former director Lee Kwang -hwan worked for the development of Korean baseball even after leaving the ground. He worked hard to expand baseball and foster youth baseball with the chairman of the Korea Baseball Commission (2006-2007, 2013-2019), and contributed to fostering baseball professional leaders.
In 1995, Lee built a baseball museum in Seogwipo -si, Jeju Island, and donated all 3,000 collections of baseball.
The office was set up at the 6th section of the Jeju Bumin Real Course. The sign is 9 am on the 4th.
