Ko Ji -woo reached the top of the Korea Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour 54 hole 54 hole.

Ko Ji -woo scored six birdies and one bogie in the third round of the KLPGA Tour McCall and Mona Yongpyeong Open (1 billion won) held in Pyeongchang Burch Hill Country Club (par 72, 6429 yards) on the 29th. Ko Ji-woo, who took the lead throughout the first and third rounds, beat the second place Yoo Hyun-jo (21 under par) with a total of 23 under par 193 strokes (64-62-67). Winning prize money of 180 million won.

Ko Ji -woo won the third win after joining in April 2021. After the game in 2023, Ko Ji -woo said, “I had a good energy because I won the first championship here. I was confident that I knew the course well.” Ko Ji -woo has been making a constant performance by winning the High1 Resort Women’s Open last year.

Ko Ji -woo, the nickname of ‘Buddy Bomber’, pushed Yoo Hyun -jo, who had been pursued by reducing 10 strokes on the first round, 10 in the second round, and six birdies in the final three rounds.

Ko Ji -woo recorded a tie record with the KLPGA 54 hole minimum hit (23 under par 193 strokes), which Cho Jung -min set up in 2018 at the Lotte Cantata Women’s Open.

Defending champion Park Hyun -kyung reduced eight strokes on the day, tied for 17th with a total of 13 under par 203. Ko Ji -woo’s younger brother, Ko Ji -won, tied for 11th with 14 under par 202 strokes.
