Persepolis intends to negotiate with two former foreign coaches if the separation of Ismail Cartal is finalized.

The meeting of the Persepolis club’s board of directors was held today, with Persepolis executives discussing the future head coach.

Persepolis executives seem to continue to insist on attracting foreign coaches. Given the current critical conditions, they insist that a coach should be recruited who has a history of being in Iranian football and is fully aware of the conditions of our country’s football. To this end, Branko Ivanovich and Oshar Vieira were introduced as the main options.

Since the negotiations with the two coaches started a few days ago and Branko and Osmar have not yet responded to Persepolis’ request, the board of directors must agree with an Iranian coach in order not to lose time, but the prerequisite that the Iranian coach was selected for each of the two coaches.

In other words, what seems clear is that Persepolis is going to reach a final agreement with an Iranian coach in a few days, and if Branco or Osmar responded positively in the few days, they will be the first coaching option.

If there is no agreement with these coaches, the internal option will be selected as the Paleo coach. During this time, people like Mojtaba Hosseini, Hossein Abdi, Yahya Golmohammadi, Vahid Hashemian and Mehdi Tartar were mentioned as Persepolis coaching options, but according to the latest information, Mehdi Tartar’s name was out of the list.

Ismail Cartal is scheduled to give a final response today or finally whether it is going to work with Persepolis.
