Ok Tae -hoon Gunsan CC Open Control… Season 2 wins for two consecutive weeks
Ok Tae -hoon (26) won the second round of two consecutive weeks and was first -time in the season.
Ok Tae -hoon hit 4 under par 68 with two Eagles and Buddy in the fourth round of the KPGA Tour, which was held at the Gunsan CC Tournament Course (par 72, 7611 yards) on the 29th. Ok Tae-hoon, who recorded a total of 19 under par 269 (69-67-65-68), reached the top of Lee Jung-hwan (17 under par).
Ok Tae -hoon won the first multi -win (2 win) in the season for two consecutive weeks following the KPGA Championships last week. Ok Tae -hoon, who won two KPGA Tours, won three wins on the professional stage, including the Asian Tour International Series Korea in 2022.
Ok Tae -hoon won 296 million won out of the total prize money (10,484,300 won), which was prepared by adding imports such as pro -am competitions, admission tickets and food and beverage sales to the basic total prize money of 700 million won. This is the first time that the total prize money of the Gunsan CC competition has exceeded 1 billion won. Ok Tae -hoon took the lead in the season’s prize and Genesis Points.
Ok Tae -hoon, who started three strokes in the second place on the day, took the eagle in the second hole (par 5) and started a pleasantly, and then maintained a gap with the competitors with the 4th (par 4) and 13th hole (par 3).
Ok Tae -hoon said in an interview after the game, “I was worried about the wind, but I finished well with the second hole Eagle. I said after winning last week, but not a genius. He also said, “I will come back at the end of August by managing my body and supplementing the shortcomings.” The KPGA Tour will enter the rest period and will be resumed with the opening of Dong -A Membership on August 28.
On the other hand, Lee Jung -hwan was runner -up by reducing six strokes on the day, and Shin -gu (Canada) ranked third (16 under par 272 strokes) and Kim Min -kyu ranked fourth (15 under par 273). Park Young -gyu, including Hol -Inwon, reduced six strokes on the day, tied for fifth place (14 under par 274 strokes) and Kang Sung -hoon tied for eighth (12 under par 276).
