The Korea Bridge Association (Chairman Kim Hye -young) held a 2025 APEC bridge tournament in Rahan Select Gyeongju with Gyeongsangbuk -do and Gyeongju City.

The tournament, which will be held for three days on the 23rd, will be held in 14 APEC member countries (Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada) and one invited country (Italy) and other countries (Italy). In combination, it will be held in a total of 150 people. In Korea, the Open Team, Women’s Team, and Senior Team will be selected as the national team of the APBF Championships this year.

In particular, the reason why the bridge competition is more special is that there are a lot of national team athletes from each country who proved their skills in the world competition, including the Asian Games Medalist. He created a system called Precision, won the world competition, and participated as a player at the age of 81, Taiwan’s Patrick, who is called the living bridge legend of Asia.

Bridge is a strategic sport that divides a two -to -two team and fights a fierce brain fight with 52 playing cards. Unlike other games, two groups of partnerships will be a group of two and four people. In 2018, it was first adopted as the first sport in the Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games. The competition is composed of 4 to 6 people, and 22 teams participated in a total of 15 rounds and Swiss league. The ranking is set by the sum of VPS (VPS) by team, and gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded to third place.
