Shohei Ohtani (30, Los Angeles Dodgers) set an unprecedented record of 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases. This is the first in American professional baseball Major League (MLB) history.
Ohtani started the away game against the Miami Marlins held at Londipo Park in Miami, Florida, USA on the 20th (Korean time) and achieved his dream record by hitting two home runs and one stolen base.
As of the previous day, Ohtani had recorded 48 home runs and 49 stolen bases. This is the first time in history that MLB has had a 50-50 record in a season.
