Korean women’s volleyball, a reversal defeat in Dominica… VNL 1 win and 7 losses
The Korean women’s volleyball team played a full set with the world’s 9th place Dominican Republic, but was reversed and lost three consecutive games.
The Korean national team, led by Fernando Morales, was the 2025 International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Balivori League (VNL) in Turkiye Istanbul on the 23rd (Korea time) to Dominica set score 2-3 (25: 19/17: 25/20: 19/20: 25/14: 16) It was defeated.
Ace Kang So -hui and Yuk Seo -young scored 20 points side by side, and Lee Sun -woo (16 points) and Jung Ho -young (10 points) also scored two -digit scores, but they lost their onslaught of Dominica.
The Korean national team, which defeated four games in the first week (Germany, Italy, the United States, and Czech Republic), won the first win with Kang Ho Canada 3-2 in the first week of the second week, but later lost to Belgium, Turki and Dominica. The tournament scores are 1-7 losses and ranked 17th.
In the game, Korea overturned the expectation that it would be inferior, and won the first set at 25-19. Kim Da -in’s sub -ace, Kang So -hui, and Yuk Seo -young succeeded in overcoming the basis. However, Dominica, which soon fought back, was onslaught with the guns Isabel Pena and Elizabeth Martinez for two sets, and took a set to 17-25 and balanced the set score 1-1.
The third and four sets were also thin. South Korea, which has been leading the lead since the beginning of the third set, quickly scored 15-6 with Yuk Seo-young and Lee Sun-woo, and won the set to 25-19 using the anxiety of Dominica’s receiving. In the fourth set, South Korea continued to play a tight game until the middle, but struggled with the last part of the last-minute gun, and gave a set to 20-25.
In the fifth set, Korea and Dominica continued to play. In Korea, even in the 11-14 defeat crisis, he scored three consecutive goals with his opponent’s room and an interceptor, leading the game to 14-14 deuce. However, the last attack was blocked by the opponent’s blocking, and the set was given to 14-16.
After the second week of the game, Korea will play with Poland, Japan, Bulgaria and France in the 3rd week of Jiba, Japan from the 9th of next month.
