The list of men and women’s teams, which will be held in the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) E-1 Championship (July 7-16) held in Korea in early July, was confirmed.

The Korean Football Association announced on the 23rd that 23 people including the men’s team Na Sang -ho (Machida) and 23 people, including Ji So -yeon (Seattle Lane) of the women’s team, will participate in the East Asian Cup.

The East Asian Cup is a Northeast Asian soccer competition that is not held during the FIFA A match. For this reason, Hong Myung -bo set up a national team with 23 K -League players and 3 Japanese J League.

Hong called the striker Na Sang -ho, who had not been able to wear the Taegeuk mark since June 2023, and brought in Oh Se -hoon (Machida), Jeon Jin -woo (Jeonbuk), and Kim Jin -kyu (Jeonbuk) who played in the 3rd qualifiers of the 2026 North Central America. Destructive striker Lee Ho -jae (Pohang) first joined the national team.

Byun Jun -soo (Gwangju) and Lee Hyun -taek (Ulsan), who are highly potential defender, were also named for the national team, while defensive midfielder Park Jin -seop (Jeonbuk) and Kim Bong -su (Daejeon) were also called by Hong.

Hong Myung Protection will face China (7th), 11th (Hong Kong), Japan (15th) and Yongin Mirstadium in Gyeonggi -do.

The women’s team, led by Shin Sang -woo, brought the strongest players at home and abroad, including Ji So -yeon, defender Kim Jin -hee (Lee Sang -won) and midfielder Kang Chae -rim (Suwon FC) Kim Shin -ji (AS Roma) Park Soo -jeong (Ulsan Science University), Jung Min -young (Seoul City Hall).

The women’s team confronts China (9th), Japan (13th) and Taiwan (16th).
