Sung Seung -min (Korea National University), the first Asian female athlete in the five modern Paris Olympics, won three crowns, including the best female award of the year at the International Five Modern Federation (UIPM) awards.

Sung Seung -min received three trophy for three winners, including the best female player senior category, junior and fair play award in 2024 at the 73rd UIPM General Assembly held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Sung Seung -min won the gold medal for the first time in a Korean female player at the World Championships in China in June and won the Paris Olympics. Following the Paris Olympics, the first Asian female athlete won the bronze medal and climbed to the podium.

The award of the Fair Play Award was the result of the federation’s appreciation of the sportsmanship during the laser run (athletic+shooting) game. At that time, Sung Seung -min reached out to Hungary (Blanca Guji) who almost fell ahead of the finish line and was praised for “embodying the sports spirit during the game.”
