Jannik Sinner (World No. 1, Italy) won the final tournament of the 2024 season of the Men’s Professional Tennis (ATP) Tour.

Sinner defeated Taylor Fritz (5th place, USA) 2-0 (6-4 6-4) in the singles final of the Neito ATP Finals (total prize money: $15.25 million) held in Turin, Italy on the 18th (Korean time). The Finals is a competition with a ‘King of Kings’ nature. The top 8 singles and top 8 doubles groups of the season will participate to determine the season’s strongest player. Sinner won the championship prize of $2,881,500 (about 7 billion won).

Sinner, who swept the Australian Open and U.S. Open among the four major tournaments this year, made 2024 her year by winning today. Sinner is the first Italian player to win the singles title in the finals in 55 years since the tournament was founded in 1970.
