Seoul’s ‘Spider Hand’ Kang Hyun-moo receives the K-League ‘Save of the Month’ award for three consecutive months


FC Seoul’s goalkeeper Kang Hyun-moo was selected as the best goalkeeper in the K-League for three consecutive months.
The Korea Professional Football League announced on the 22nd that Kang Hyun-moo was selected as the winner of the K-League ‘Doctor-made Ring T Save of the Month’ award in October. Kang Hyun-moo was recognized as the best goalkeeper for three consecutive months in August and September.
The Save of the Month Award is awarded to two candidates, and the winner is determined by combining fan voting (80%) through the K League membership application Kick and voting (20%) through Ring T’s official mall.
Kang Hyun-moo beat Jeju’s goalkeeper Ahn Chan-gi in the October save award competition for K League 1 rounds 33-35.
In the 34th round match against Gangwon FC, Kang Hyun-moo showed off his skills as the league’s best goalkeeper by blocking Hwang Moon-ki’s powerful free kick aimed at the corner of the goal in the 31st minute of the second half. Hyunmoo Kang receives a prize money of 1 million won and a trophy.
