In Cheorwon, the last Sepak Takraw of the year will be decided.
The 22nd National Student Sepak Takraw Competition and the 16th Sepak Takraw Business League will be held at the Cheorwon Indoor Gymnasium in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province from the 20th to the 24th.
Hosted by the Korea Sepak Takraw Association and organized by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Sepak Takraw Association, this competition is the last national Sepak Takraw competition in 2024, in which 32 teams from all over the country participate. It is an important competition that will be held in 2025 in conjunction with the 3rd Sepak Takraw national team selection match to discover promising players.
Kim Chang-myeong, acting president of the Korea Sepak Takraw Association, said, “I am grateful to Cheorwon County Governor Lee Hyun-jong for allowing us to hold this year’s grand finale in Cheorwon. Although this year’s national competition ends with this competition, the Republic of Korea will grow even further next year. “We hope for your continued interest and support for Sepak Takraw.”
