Bae Gil-tae (49), former head coach of Suwon KT, a professional basketball team, was appointed as coach of the 3-on-3 men’s basketball team.
Coach Bae was a guard during his playing days and played for Cheongju SK, Changwon LG, Daegu Orions, Wonju Dongbu (currently DB), and Jeonju KCC. After retirement, he worked as a KCC manager and DB power analyst. He has served as coach of Katy since 2018, and was promoted to head coach in 2021.
Coach Bae is preparing for the 2025 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) 3-on-3 Asia Cup to be held in Singapore in March next year.
