Lee Hyun -joong plays in Japan this season… “Conclusion with Nagasaki Belka”
Lee Hyun -joong, who is challenging the US professional basketball (NBA), leaves the Australian League (NBL) and joins the Japanese League Nagasaki Belka.
Lee Hyun -joong’s agent, Epic Sports, announced on the 30th that “Lee Hyun -joong has contracted with Illa Wara Hawks in Australia and has signed a new contract with the Japanese B -League Nagasaki Belka.” Nagasaki Belka is a team in which Yudai Baba, who recently played the Summer League as a New York Knick, plays.
Epic Sports added, “This transfer is a strategic decision for Lee Hyun -joong’s skills and a leap on a new stage, and it will be a significant start for both teams and players.” Nagasaki Belka expects Lee Hyun -joong as a key force for the team, and he believes that his performance will play a big role in improving the team’s performance.
Lee Hyun -joong said in Epic Sports, “I am excited to be able to meet the first full season on the Japanese stage, so I can meet with Nagasaki fans. I want to help Nagasaki Belka to challenge not only personal performance but also to win the championship this season. The determination was made.
Lee Hyun -joong is a Korean men’s basketball team and will participate in the 2025 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Men’s Basketball Asia Cup held in Jedda, Saudi Arabia on August 5-17 (local time). Immediately after the Asian Cup schedule, he will join Nagasaki Belka.
The American stage challenge continues. He left for basketball to challenge a bigger stage in high school, and played at Davidson University after building his skills at the American professional basketball academy. In 2022, he fell from the NVA draft, but went through the G -League for the first time in the Australian League.
