(Seoul = News1) Lim Sung -il, a sports reporter = K -League 1 Jeonbuk Hyundai announced on the 25th that the U13 Youth Team will participate in the ‘China Future Champions Cup’ held in Chongqing, China from 25th to 31st. The team left for Incheon Airport on the evening of the 24th.

The Future Champions Cup will be invited by the teams of Jeonbuk Hyundai, Italy Udinese, and the Roman Football Association, with nine teams of Chinese youths including Beijing Guoan and Chongqing.

The ‘Future Champions Cup’ will be rooted in the ‘Futuri Campioni’ tournament in Lavenna, Italy since 2015. It is the first competition held by the Chinese Football Association in Chongqing in Chongqing in the same naming.

Jeonbuk Hyundai explained, “We decided to compete in this competition to provide low -grade players who lack the game with the opportunity to grow through the international competition experience.”

Jeonbuk Hyundai Lee Do -hyun said, “The best foundation for the growth of young players is experience.”

Jeonbuk Hyundai will also participate in the 2025 Oten Innovation Cup hosted by the Dutch PSV Eindhoven in August.

The Oten Innovation Cup is a historic competition where leading prestigious youth teams around the world compete, and Jeonbuk Hyundai Youth Team has been invited since 2023.
