‘Super 1000 Slam’ Challenge Ahn Se -young, Chinese Open Women’s Singles
Ahn Se -young (23), the world’s No. 1 badminton women’s singles, who challenges the Super 1000 Slam, won the Chinese Open quarterfinals.
Ahn Se-young won the World Badminton Federation (BWF) World Tour Super 1000 Chinese Open Women’s Singles Round of 16 at the Changzhou Olympic Sports Center on the 24th.
Ahn Se -young meets the rivals of the rivals in the quarter -finals (China, 5th). Ahn Se -young and Cheonsi Pay’s opponents are 12-3. This year, he has played four times and has a 3-2 loss. Ahn Se -young and Cheonsu Pay’s quarter -finals will be held on the 25th.
Ahn Se -young will challenge ‘Super 1000 Slam’, which dominates all the ‘Super 1000’ series, which will be held four times a year for the first time in BWF history. Ahn Se -young swept three ‘Super 1000’ three competitions (Malaysia Open, Jeon Young Open, Indonesia Open). No player has achieved ‘Super 1000 Slam’ in history.
On the same day, the men’s double-ranking world ranking, Seo Seung-jae, Kim Won-ho, and Kobayashi Yugo Jugo, Japan, went to the quarter-finals with a set score of 2-0 (21: 13/21: 13). Seo Seung-jae and Kim Won-ho will also be at the top of the ‘Super 1000’ tournament if they win the competition.
